During World War II, Avramenko released the film "Tragedy of Carpathian Ukraine." This is a chronicle-documentary about one of the tragic pages of the liberation struggle of the Ukrainian people. The short lived establishment the government of the region of Trans-Carpathian Ukraine.

This film contains very rare sound footage from the formation of the short-lived government. We were very fortunate to have rescued it in time and to have restored most of the film.
